Rachel Harris Pinson is a native of Childersburg, Alabama. She has one daughter, Caroline. Rachel has been a practicing attorney since 2009.

Rachel practices in Central Alabama primarily handling criminal defense and family law. Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; she earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007. Rachel has worked in private practice since 2009. Rachel is a graduate of the National Juvenile Defender Center JTIP Summer Academy at Georgetown Law. She was accepted to attend the National Criminal Defense College at the Roger Williams University School of Law during the summer of 2021.

Rachel handles family law issues including divorce, custody, child support, visitation, adoption, and dependencies, working as both guardian ad litem and parent and petitioner's attorney. Rachel represents defendants at all stages in the criminal justice system from the initial charge through the appellate process and expungements.
